I started reading Elizabeth Gilbert’s hit memoir, Eat, Pray, Love some ten weeks ago but momentarily gave up in the middle of the book for two reasons: I wasn’t feeling it and I was preoccupied with ten million things that were going on inside my head, such as bills, travels, work, and this infernal thing called summer heat. But since the film adaptation will hit theaters in June/July in the US, I guess I have to go back where I had left off. Maybe if you put beautiful people, like Julia Roberts, James Franco and Javier Bardem in the picture, then Gilbert’s reasons for leaving a seemingly fine marriage will make sense.
